The first one hour visit includes a thorough intake, with focus on your health concern, a detailed medical history, and a discussion of the patient's goals. During this visit we will perform any necessary physical exams and decide what laboratory tests to perform, if necessary. Typically we start the patient with some basic treatments and certainly try to address any pain or discomfort. The follow-up, will typically occur 2 week to 4 weeks later. During this visit, a long term plan to achieve certain goals will be presented. We will also discuss and schedule follow up visits at time intervals that are dependent upon the client's needs. Some visits do not require a full workup and may be billed by the hour. Call to see which approach would best suit your needs. Consultations: For those who wish to find out more information about how we may help them, before making an appointment, we offer consultations. Consultations are offered at a reduced rate from our office visits. Homeopathic diagnosis and treatment: Homeopathic visits are unique in that patients are asked not only questions about their health concerns but also about their habits, their sleep patterns, and other questions that reveal who they are as a person rather than being a sum of their symptoms. Yes, detailed information about one's symptoms are covered in depth, but hey are not the sole focus of the interview. The goal with homeopathy is to best match the entire picture of the client with that of the homeopathic medicine. Homeopathic visits last anywhere from 2-2.5 hours. The information gathered from this interview is then entered into a specialized homeopathic software program that narrows down the diagnosis. The doctor will then research which medicine will work best for the client. The whole process of analyzing the case can take the doctor anywhere from 3-7 hours. Homeopathic medicine is perhaps the most individualized form of medicine. Homeopathy can work on any given type of condition whether it is physical or emotional in nature.
