Do we take insurance?
For those with AETNA we will bill insurance. Please note that we are listed as
"Out of Network Providers" with AETNA. Please click here for more
information.
For those who do not have AETNA:
Because we do not show up on many health care plans we are not able to bill
insurance. We will however provide our patients with a super bill if their
insurance covers our services. The client can submit this along with a claims
form for reimbursement. Remember that reimbursement is not always 100% of
the payment.
For those who have a PPO plan, labs typically ordered by medical doctors
are likely to be covered when we order them!
Which Insurance plans are most likely to cover our services?
What about Flex Plans or Health Savings Accounts?
As long as we are seeing you for a medical complaint, your visits should be
covered.
Only wellness visits, when the client has no complaints, are not covered.

- Some PPO's will cover our services, it depends upon the company and the
policy. Check with your insurance first! - HMO's are almost a sure bet not to cover our services.
- Medicare and Medicaid have not opted to cover our services at this time
- To find out if your insurance covers naturopathic care, call and ask your
insurance company if they cover "licensed naturopathic doctors"
