Do we take insurance?
We are only billing Cigna PPO and AETNA PPO insurance plans for our
services. (see more information below) Please keep in mind that we are
considered "Out of Network" providers. With each insurance plan there are
certain criteria to meet with regards to deductibles. Your deductible for your
"In Network" visits may be different from "Out of Network" services.
Lab Testing:
For those who have a PPO plan, labs typically ordered by medical doctors are
likely to be covered when we order them, provided you do not have a
deductible to be met.
Which Insurance plans are most likely to cover our services?
that you should still verify coverage with the insurance and make
sure you do not have a deductible to meet for "Out of Network"
coverage. Some AETNA PPO plans may cover us, but the plan needs
to state specifically that naturopathic medicine is covered otherwise
they will not do so. On a final note, insurance companies can
deny claims for a variety of reasons, so please do not assume that
just because you are told you have coverage that they will accept the
claim.
What about Flex Plans or Health Savings Accounts?
As long as we are seeing you for a medical complaint, your visits should be
covered.
Only wellness visits, when the client has no complaints, may not be covered.

- Medicare and Medicaid have not opted to cover our services at this time
- To find out if your insurance covers naturopathic care, call and ask your
insurance company if they cover "licensed naturopathic doctors"
